Since its debut in 2004, this flagship chassis has secured more than 10 world titles and numerous international victories, making it a cornerstone of the Prevalle brand's achievements. With the introduction of the "T" version, the OTK Kart Group's R&D team has implemented several cutting-edge innovations, including new braking systems—BWD for single-gear classes and BWZ for shifter classes—and the sleek M11 fairings. To maintain its competitive edge, meticulous attention has been given to even the smallest details, such as a newly designed aluminum chain tensioner integrated into the bearing support. Tony Kart also introduces refreshed aesthetics with a redesigned fairing sticker kit, blending modern appeal with its iconic style.
M11 Fairing Kit: Enhanced Design, Superior Efficiency
In pursuit of maximum aerodynamic performance, the OTK Kart Group's R&D department developed the M11 fairing kit, fully compliant with FIA regulations. This advancement stems from extensive CFD simulations, wind tunnel experiments, and on-track testing conducted by the Tony Kart Racing Team. The result is a new front spoiler and uniquely designed fairing that significantly reduces aerodynamic drag, translating to improved on-track performance. Complementing the M11 components are the side bumpers and rear protection from the M10 kit, carried over from the previous homologation, as well as a full-coverage floorplate for optimized aerodynamic efficiency. The package is further enhanced with an updated sticker design, maintaining the brand’s iconic colors and style.
BWD Braking System: Innovation for Direct Drive Classes
A standout feature of the Racer 401 T is the BWD braking system, designed specifically for Junior and Senior Direct Drive classes. Developed with top-quality materials, this system emphasizes heat dissipation to minimize brake oil temperature, ensuring consistent and efficient braking under all track conditions. The innovative design significantly enhances component performance and reliability. The BWD system is offered in two variants, with 180 mm or 206 mm diameter discs, tailored to different racing needs.
